LINDA BRYANT, JD, CJM, has a distinguished career in public safety, law, and corrections. She was appointed by the Governor of Virginia to serve on the Virginia Parole Board. A parachutist-qualified officer, Linda served as a Captain on active duty in the U.S. Army and later as a Major in the Army Reserves. With over 17 years of experience as a prosecutor, she handled violent crimes and homicides for the city of Norfolk, VA, eventually becoming Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney.
In 2013, Linda was appointed Deputy Attorney General for the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Division of the Virginia Office of the Attorney General, where she oversaw litigation involving the Virginia Department of Corrections. She also served as interim assistant superintendent and compliance attorney for a mega-jail housing special management inmates. Linda worked at Lexipol as a consultant for the Corrections solutions team, where she applied her extensive expertise to support public safety and corrections professionals.
