Since its launch in 2021, the Lexipol Connect Recognition Program has been celebrating public safety agencies and local government organizations for their commitment to excellence in policy and training management. Now in its fourth year, the program continues to recognize the outstanding achievements of agencies that go above and beyond to ensure their communities are protected and well-served.
Recognizing Dedication to Policy and Training Excellence
This year, an impressive 1,674 agencies earned recognition in the Online Learning category, and 1,608 agencies were honored in the Policy category. These agencies demonstrated exceptional performance across critical metrics, earning awards at the bronze, silver and gold levels.
The Connect Recognition Program evaluates agencies quarterly on detailed metrics that assess both policy management and training engagement. For policy management, metrics include how quickly the agency processes important updates to policies, the percentage of policies issued to personnel, and policies acknowledged, which measures how effectively staff comply with and understand issued policies. Agencies are also evaluated on the Daily Training Bulletins (DTBs) issued and completed, reflecting their dedication to consistency and ongoing training.
In training management, metrics like average training hours assigned and completed, training assignment completions, and user activity are measured and help assess how agencies promote professional development and meet training mandates. These measures highlight an agency’s commitment to staying current with best practices and fostering a culture of learning and accountability.
